Eligibility
Rooms are available to qualified practitioners registered with an appropriate professional body (BACP, UKCP, NCPS, HCPC, BPS, ACC, ICF or equivalent) who hold current professional indemnity insurance. We assume you carry the certificates and DBS check appropriate to your work and can provide them on request.
Your clinical work
You remain solely responsible for your own clinical, ethical and professional standards, for the confidentiality of anyone you see on the premises, and for compliance with your professional body’s code of ethics and UK data protection law. Thrive Counselling Centre has no clinical involvement in your work.
Payment
Bookings are paid before the session by bank transfer, unless another arrangement has been agreed. Regular weekly slots are invoiced monthly.
Introductory launch rates are in place until January 2027 and will be reviewed then. Bookings already made will honour the rate paid at the time of booking.
Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a booking up to 48 hours before the session start time by email. A refund of the fee paid, less a £2 administration fee, will be issued within 5–10 working days. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session are non-refundable.
No-shows
Non-attendance without cancellation is treated as a used session and is non-refundable.
Room use
The room is provided as furnished. Please leave it as you found it, dispose of tissues and cups, and respect the arrival/departure protocol to protect confidentiality for the next practitioner and their client. Any damage beyond fair wear and tear will be invoiced at cost.
Access
Arrival is no more than 5 minutes before your booked time; departure is by the end of your booked time so the next practitioner is not disturbed. Key or entry arrangements will be shared on your first booking.
Termination
Thrive reserves the right to end a hire arrangement, with pro-rata refund of any unused pre-paid sessions, if these terms or your professional body’s standards are breached.
