Why see me in Milton Keynes

A BACP-registered counsellor based in Central MK

Counselling at Thrive is integrative, drawing from person-centred therapy, CBT-informed approaches, emotion-focused work and trauma-informed practice. Each piece of work shapes around the person sitting opposite, not the other way around.

I’m Andrew — a qualified, BACP-registered integrative counsellor offering individual and couples therapy from a quiet, confidential room in Central Milton Keynes. I work with adults from across the MK area, including Bletchley, Newport Pagnell, Wolverton, Stony Stratford, Woburn Sands and beyond. My approach is integrative, drawing from person-centred therapy, CBT-informed techniques, emotion-focused work and trauma-informed practice. Sessions are tailored entirely to you: your concerns, your pace, your goals. Evening appointments are available in limited numbers for clients who can’t make daytime slots. A free 15-minute consultation is the first step, by phone or video, to find out if working together would be a good fit.

Getting here

Midsummer Court is the Regus building on Midsummer Boulevard in Central Milton Keynes, next to Browns and the Travelodge. If you’re coming by train, it’s about a 10-minute walk from Milton Keynes Central. There’s on-street parking right outside, which is pay and display from 8am to 6pm and free after that.

My room is on the second floor. There’s step-free access into the building and a lift up to my room. During the day you’ll sign in at reception, and for evening sessions after 5pm I’ll come down to meet you. I’ll send full directions with your appointment invite. If you have any access needs, just let me know beforehand and we can talk it through.
