Online counselling Northampton-wide, for individuals and couples across Northampton and the wider Northamptonshire area. I don't offer in-person sessions in Northampton, but many clients choose online therapy because it gives them access to the right counsellor, not just the closest one.
I’m Andrew, a qualified, BACP-registered integrative counsellor offering individual and couples therapy to clients across Northampton and Northamptonshire, entirely online via secure video.
My approach draws from person-centred therapy, CBT-informed techniques, emotion-focused work and trauma-informed practice. Sessions are tailored to you – your concerns, your pace, your goals — rather than following a fixed method.
Online counselling removes the commute and the waiting room, and the research is clear that it’s as effective as in-person for most concerns. Many Northampton clients find it easier to be open from the familiarity of their own home. If you’d ever like to work in person, I also see clients at my consulting room in Central Milton Keynes, around 35 minutes from Northampton by car. Evening appointments are available in limited numbers. The free 15-minute consultation is the easiest first step — by phone or video — to find out if working together feels right
Individual sessions are £55 for 50 minutes. Couples sessions are £75 for 50 minutes. The initial 15-minute consultation is free. Payment is by bank transfer before each session. No hidden platform or admin fees.

We came to counselling feeling stuck and disconnected. Andrew provided a space where we could slow down, truly listen to each other, and understand what was underneath our arguments — it made such a difference.
Not in Northampton itself, I don't have a room there. If in-person matters to you, I see clients at my consulting room in Central Milton Keynes, around 35 minutes from Northampton by car. Some clients work with me online from Northampton and come in person to MK occasionally. We'd talk through what suits you on the free call
For most people, for most concerns, yes. A decade of research supports this. The relationship is the same — the screen is just the medium. Most clients adapt within a session or two, and many find it easier to be open from a familiar space.
A private space where you won't be interrupted, a device with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection. I'll send a calendar invite with your session link before we begin. No downloads, no accounts to create
A free 15-minute consultation is the easiest way to find out if online counselling would suit you.
